Bryce

It is late and I am so tired but I just couldn't go to sleep without expressing my gratitude for my wonderful husband. Since Bryce began his student teaching (while still working full-time) 2 months ago he has been SO busy pulling 13+ hour days and working on Saturdays (not to mention all the lesson plans he has to do when he is home). We have missed him around the house as is evidenced by Dale's excitement tonight when I got an unexpected phone call from Bryce saying that he was getting out of his class early (yes, amongst everything else he is still going to school himself- one Master's Degree coming up). After I told Dale the news he said, "Yes! It's only 7:00. That means I can have a whole hour with Bryce tonight before bedtime!"

Dale loves Bryce so much. It takes a special person to do what Bryce did and step into a life that had been turned upside down and then love unconditionally, not only a woman but also her son. What a selfless act. Bryce is not only an incredible man but is such an amazing dad to Dale. He teaches him, plays with him & supports him. He loves him. I am thankful for this everyday. I am so blessed. We are so blessed.
